Painting from the heart

When I started painting, I didn’t know about technique or composition, I just knew my heart felt at peace while painting flowers. Painting has made me more aware of the beauty in the world and has changed how I see myself and my purpose. I have found so much joy in sharing the my creative life and in expressing the freedom and peace that painting brings. Whether it is in the intricate detail of a flower or when trying to capture the light and shadow with expressive brushstrokes, my hope is that every painting reveals the vibrant joy that the gift of watercolor has brought to my life.
